If not now, then when?

For as long as I can remember I have never been one to jump on the bandwagon with the latest anything; fads, technology, fashion, blogs. if everyone was wearing or doing it chances were that I was not representin'. It took me a while to realize that I was just not marching to the beat of my own drum, but I was being observant. I had to see what the hype was about. If it didn't move me, I wasn't moving. I say all this to say that I approached blogging the same way. I couldn't fathom sharing my inner most thoughts with all of cyberspace inhabitants. So I watched, with a hincty (stuck up) attitude, but I still watched and waited to see if this new blog fad would fizzle. Good for me, it didn't because as I watched and waited I began to witness the value in some blogs. There were informative blogs, health care blogs, recipe blogs and so on. Soon I began to consider having one too. But what would I blog about? So, I continued to watch, but now I was intrigued. Over the years I continued to put some thought into this blogging venture and finally a few weeks ago, I decided to take the plunge. What will my theme be, you ask? Accountability. Like most blogs, people create them as a way to share a part of themselves, but it's really for them. This blog is for me to track my accountability in taking better care of myself, spiritual growth and creative journey. I am not professing to be an expert on ANYTHING. If I were I probably wouldn't need to create an accountability blog. If just one person is able to get something out of this, then that's just bonus points.
